The short version

  • The Pinrope app keeps what you copy on your Mac, encrypted. It doesn't send your clipboard or your screenshots to us.
  • This website only stores the email address you give us for the beta waitlist.
  • No analytics, no advertising cookies, no trackers. We never sell or share your email.

The app

Pinrope keeps your copied texts, links and screenshots in a library on your Mac. Your text and link history and the search index are stored encrypted, with the key kept in your Mac's Keychain. Image files are kept in the app's own folder on your Mac and are protected by macOS; we recommend turning on FileVault.

When you send a screenshot from your iPhone, it goes straight to your Mac over your own Wi‑Fi. If the two aren't on the same network, your iPhone keeps the screenshot and sends it once they are. It never passes through a server we run. We don't run one for your data.

Things that look like secrets, such as API keys, go into an encrypted vault that opens with Touch ID or your Mac password. Items that password managers mark as private are not saved at all.

If you connect an AI assistant such as Claude or Codex, it talks to Pinrope on your Mac. What it receives is then handled by that assistant's provider under their own privacy terms.

This website

When you join the beta waitlist we store:

  • your email address (in lower case),
  • the language of the page you used (English or Turkish),
  • the date and time you signed up.

We use it only to invite you to the beta and to tell you when Pinrope launches. We never sell it or share it with anyone. It is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database.

To stop abuse, the form allows a limited number of sign-ups per connection. For this we keep a one-way, salted fingerprint of your IP address for at most a day. We never store your IP address itself.

Cookies and analytics

We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and the site loads no third-party scripts or fonts. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes basic request data (like your IP address) to deliver pages and protect the site, and may set a strictly necessary security cookie.

Your choices

To see, change or delete your waitlist entry, email hello@pinrope.com from the address you signed up with. We'll delete it and confirm. We keep your email until you ask us to remove it, or until we no longer need it for the beta and the launch.

Who we are

Pinrope is operated by Pinrope (OMNIVSN). Questions about privacy: hello@pinrope.com.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
